The Customers<\/strong> tab brings together your customer information, Account Centers, orders, balances, documents, and communications. Use this area to create customer records, update existing information, and review activity for each customer.<\/p>\n

Find or Add a Customer<\/h2>\n

Click the Customers<\/strong> tab to open the Work With Customers<\/strong> window. From here, you can find an existing customer or create a new customer record.<\/p>\n

Open a customer\u2019s record in the Maintain Customer<\/strong> window to review or update their information.<\/p>\n

Understand Account Centers<\/h2>\n

Every customer must have at least one Account Center<\/strong>. Account Centers let you organize different parts of a customer\u2019s business within a single customer record.<\/p>\n

For example, a school district could have a separate Account Center for each school. This allows you to track orders and report on activity for each school while keeping them connected to the same customer.<\/p>\n
