Overview<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Selecting Kit Components During Order Entry<\/strong> function in bizwizIQ\u00ae Order Manager allows users to select and modify component products from kits assigned to a Finished Detail Product.<\/p>\n

When a Finished Detail Product has one or more kits assigned, Order Manager allows the user to select the appropriate component from each kit.<\/p>\n

For example, a customizable trophy may have separate kits for its base, column, and sports figure. During order entry, the user can select the components needed to complete the customer’s order.<\/p>\n

Only one component from each assigned kit<\/strong> can be selected for an order line item.<\/p>\n

Accessing Kit Components During Order Entry<\/strong><\/h2>\n

There are three ways to access kit components when working with an order:<\/p>\n

  1. Automatically when adding a Finished Detail Product<\/strong> \u2014 The kit selection window opens after saving an order line item that has assigned kits.<\/li>\n
  2. Using the Kit Details button<\/strong> \u2014 Open an existing order line item and click Kit Details.<\/li>\n
  3. Expanding an order line item<\/strong> \u2014 Use the expand arrow in the Order Line Items section of the Maintain Order screen to display its kit components.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Method 1: Selecting Kit Components When Adding an Order Line Item<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    When a Finished Detail Product with assigned kits is added to an order, Order Manager automatically presents the kit selection window.<\/p>\n

    Step 1: Add a Finished Detail Product<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    1. Open an existing order or create a new order.<\/li>\n
    2. In the Order Line Items<\/strong> section, click New<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. The Maintain Order Line Item<\/strong> window will open.<\/li>\n
    4. Select the desired product and SKU.<\/li>\n
    5. Enter the quantity and any other required information.<\/li>\n
    6. Click Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Step 2: Review the Kit Components<\/strong><\/h3>\n

      If the selected Finished Detail Product has kits assigned, the Work With Order Line Item Component Kit<\/strong> window will automatically open.<\/p>\n

      This window displays the kits associated with the order line item and the components currently selected.<\/p>\n
