There are two types of products and each type of product has at least one detail product.
- Finished Product: A finished product is a complete product that includes at least one detailed product. For instance, if you have a “32oz Insulated Mug,” you’d create a detailed product for each color, each with its own unique SKU, Retail SKU, and price.
- Component Product: Think of a component product as something you can sell on its own, but it can also be a key part of KITS, helping to create Finished Products. For instance, imagine you have a Product called “Trophy Figures,” which includes detailed products for each type of figure. You could then put together a kit with all the Soccer Figures and assign that kit to a Finished Product called “Tube Trophy Soccer.”
Products - Click on Products to open the Work With Product Window
Search Area -The Top portion of the Window is the search criteria to narrow down what you are searching for. Make as many selections to narrow your search. When finished, click the Search Button to narrow the results.
Status:
Select the status of the products you want to search for
Type:
Select the Type of product you are looking for.
Family:
Select the Product family you are searching for.
Name:
Enter a Name or part of a Product Name
Supplier SKU:
Enter a Supplier SKU
Retail SKU:
Enter a Retail SKU if known.
Various Buttons - There are many buttons, below is an explanation for each button.
Search:
Searches for all Products that pertain to the search criteria you have entered.
Bulk Pricing Adjustment:
Opens the Maintain Manage product Base UnitPrice/Cost
Window. For More information on this window.
New:
Clicking on New will open a New Maintain Product Window to enter a new product.
Modify:
Opens the Maintain Product window of the Selected Product
Duplicate:
Duplicates all the aspects of the Product Selected, including product details, images and documents.
Delete:
Opens the Product Delete window to delete the product.
Print:
Prints a report of all products listed on the Work With Product Screen
Close:
Closes the Work With Product window.
Refresh:
Refreshes the window.
Display Inventory Details:
Opens the Select Product Detail Inventory Window.
